I'm a huge Eurovision enthusiast, and every year I host a gathering for my friends. I usually create paper voting cards to act as a jury and allocate points to our favorite songs. But this year, I've made a significant leap forward – I've gone paperless! I took it upon myself to develop a custom voting system using nothing but vanilla JavaScript. Despite the allure of frameworks, there's something wonderfully nostalgic about sticking to the basics, don't you think?
JavaScript CSS
I designed and coded my boiler plate of a business website. This website can be easily customized for the needs of a specific company. It has a cookie consent banner, couple of pages, components that use props to adjust chosen qualities.
Next.js Tailwind
I was coding consequently for 30 days and here I publish all of the projects that I made during this time. Some of them are quite quick and easy, but some required couple of hours of working and were made in days. This website is a kind of a gallery and I developed it in simple HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I made a json file where I placed all information about each project (such as photo, title, comment) and then I fetch this data in my JS file. This solution made my code more tidy and organized.
HTML CSS JavaScript
This is a blog portal focused on mindfullness and gratitude sharing. I built it in Next.js, Typescirpt and used Tailwind for styling. I am also responsible for design and all ideas. The website doesn't have a functional backend, so it's only a front end.
Tailwind Next.js Typescript
This is a one-pager, simple travel website with a ticket booking system. I built it using React, couple of hooks and styled components. Website is made according to the design provided in Figma. All assets like photos and icons were given to me for the purpose of this exercise.
Styled components React JavaScript
This app allows users to create a horse and add it to our database. Made in react & styled components according to the Figma design. Made in collaboration with two other developers, working on seperate branches & pair-programming. For backend we worked with MongoDB. We use react hooks, react Router, Lottie files, public API:s and many more!
MongoDB React Styled components
This is a to do list, made with React and Redux. I used dispatch to be able to store and select reducer (action). Styling is made with styled components (including passing props), checkboxes are also styled. I used date-fns library to display the actual date. The design is modern, light and simple.
Redux React JavaScript
My first website developed according to the design created by a UX designer in Figma. I began by meeting with the designer and discussing the design. I worked in React and built my components as separate sections of the design. I styled them using Vanilla CSS.
CSS3 React JavaScript Figma
This is a chatbot made in HTML, CSS, JavaScript. It's themed as a recruiter-screening chatbot because of my background in working in recruitment. I use plenty of conditional statements and setTimeout function to delay the new message coming.
HTML CSS JavaScript
I answered some questions for Technigo about how my journey with coding began. I shared some tips for everyone who considers starting coding.
In this article I'm comparing different ways of styling in code. I will go thorugh vanilla CSS, styled components, SASS and Tailwind CSS. This article is now in progress, so hold your horses, please!
